Ziv Aviram Founder & President

One of Israel’s most esteemed managers and entrepreneurs. In 1999, Aviram co-founded Mobileye and held the positions of President and CEO. Mobileye became the leading supplier of Advanced Driver Assist Systems and autonomous driving technology while changing transportation as we know it. In August 2014, Mobileye went public and claimed the title for largest Israeli IPO ever. In August 2017, Intel acquired Mobileye for $15.3B, which is the biggest ever acquisition of an Israeli company.

In 2010, Aviram co-founded OrCam and held the position of President & CEO for 11 years. Currently, he serves as the company’s Active Co-Chairman. OrCam harnesses artificial vision by incorporating pioneering technology into a revolutionary wearable platform, which improves the lives of individuals who are partially sighted, blind, have reading difficulties including dyslexia, or suffer from hearing disability.

As part of his business agenda and activities, Aviram sees the importance of the Israeli high-tech industry and advises, accompanies, and invests in tens of startups in the fields of Medicine, Automotive, Artificial Intelligence, and more. His choice of investment is guided by the venture’s contribution to humanity.

Idit Aviram

Idit was born and raised in Ramot HaShavim with her parents and her younger brother and sister.
She held a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences from Ben-Gurion University in the Negev, where during her studies, she met and met Ziv.
Together, they raised their four children on values of friendship, love, and giving. Idit was involved in the production of private and corporate events and enriched the lives of her family and close friends with endless adventures, events, and trips.

She was always surrounded by friends and love, and always took care of every little detail and every person. She was patient, compassionate, and caring, with a constant smile on her face.
Idit loved traveling in Israel and around the world – hiking, cycling, and any other way that connected her to the place, the culture, and the community. With her around, the house was always filled with the aroma of baked goods, with warmth and affection, and with an appreciation for the simple pleasures of life.

Idit passed away from cancer in 2015 after a long struggle, which she faced with her typical smile, optimism and resilience. A modest, happy, quiet, and loving woman.

Gili Aviram
Co- Chairwoman

Gili has extensive management experience. She previously served in project management positions and in marketing and sales management at a variety of organizations.

Prior to establishing the foundation with her family, Gili worked as a marketing and special projects manager at Mobileye, where she initiated, developed, and implemented strategies and was in charge of the company’s marketing and sales.

Gili holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya).

During her military service, Gili served as an education NCO in the Nahshon Battalion of the Kfir Brigade. In this role, she was responsible for the educational and cultural activities in the battalion.

Nir Aviram
Member of the Foundation

Along with establishing the family foundation, Nir also works for the construction and real estate company, Tidhar Group, in a diverse range of positions.
Previously, he worked in the QA department at Mobileye and Amit Systems.
Nir is a sports and nature lover and in his free time, he enjoys traveling skydiving and rock climbing.

Nir holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and management from the Ben Gurion University of the Negev.

He served as a combat soldier in the patrol squadron of the Armored Corps.

Noa Aviram

Along with establishing the Aviram Family Foundation, Noa manages collaborations at the Bayit al Hayam (Sea Home) NPO, where she manages donations and scholarships, is in charge of the extra-organizational collaborations, and coordinates the family activities on a volunteer basis.

Noa previously served as the academic administrative coordinator at the Unit for Unique Training and served as a TA in economics courses at the Kibbutzim College. When she was younger, she volunteered at the Yad LaKashish NPO and was a guide in a youth movement.

Noa holds a bachelor’s degree in social business management and democratic education from the Kibbutzim College of Education, Technology, and the Arts.
She completed her military service as a personnel officer in the Nahal Brigade.

In his meaningful service in the Nahal Brigade, he served as a sergeant major in a platoon training at-risk youth as well as commanding the platoon and the staff of commanders. During his military service, he commanded a team of 12 combat soldiers through their basic training.

He previously worked in the QA department at Mobileye and as a technical assistant at Amit Systems.

During high school, he volunteered as a soccer coach for new Ethiopian immigrants. Gal is an extreme sport lover and in his free time, he enjoys dirt bike riding, wave surfing and snowboarding.
