Shavim- Back Home

The Aviram Foundation’s “Shavim – Back Home” program works to support reservists who served in the “Iron Swords” war as they return home to everyday life.

In the wake of the “Iron Swords” war, many soldiers return from reserve duty carrying emotional strain and a sense of disconnection. The return to civilian routine can be challenging, affecting one’s sense of belonging, stability, and wholeness.

The Aviram Foundation’s “Shavim – Back Home” program works to support reservists and recently discharged soldiers who served in the “Iron Swords” war as they return home to everyday life. The program aims to strengthen the mental and physical resilience of those who served and of their families. It takes place in natural settings across the country, enabling a smooth and balanced transition from the routine of combat back to the routine of everyday life.

Halas:Baked

Halas:Baked Workshop — Inspired by Idit Aviram, In partnership with Halasartan.

The Halas:Baked Workshop was inspired by Idit Aviram, and established together with Halasartan. The workshop offers a meditative, empowering, liberating, and shared space for cancer patients and survivors from the Halas community. Its purpose is to rebuild self-confidence, strengthen self-image and a sense of personal capability, and ease the anxiety and depression that so often accompany young people through the stages of illness — all while widening their social circles and doing so in a way that is joyful, enriching, and grounded in tools they can carry into everyday life.
